High-Rise Expert Nancy Martínez Continues to Lead the Market

The Dallas Morning News, April 30, 2017
Nancy Martínez continues to excel in Dallas real estate, where she is a recognized leader in the high-rise market who has closed well over 200 transactions in more than 20 different properties.
“Nancy’s success in matching buyers with sellers is unsurpassed in the Dallas high-rise market,” says Sheila Rice, president of Virginia Cook, Realtors. “She was named senior executive associate in 2013 in recognition of her significant contributions to our company’s growth and continues to rank among the Company Top 30 every year.”
A perennial D Best Realtor, Nancy has built her business upon an extensive knowledge of Dallas’ inventory, her own unique personal insight as a high-rise owner, and strong working relationships with her colleagues.
Nancy’s work has even evoked the praise of competitors, such as this comment from the owner of a large Dallas real estate firm after her clients purchased his personal high-rise residence: 'My wife and I want to thank you for handling this sale so professionally and personally.'
Nancy grew up in the Preston Hollow neighborhood of Dallas, earned a degree from Southern Methodist University, and enjoyed a career as an executive recruiter for Neiman-Marcus. After moving to Mexico and traveling extensively worldwide, she returned to Dallas to dedicate herself to work as a full-time Realtor
“From Dallas to San Miguel de Allende, Nancy has lived and worked in vibrant and diverse settings for more than 30 years,” says Sheila. “Having experienced every lifestyle from that afforded by large staffed homes to modest condos, Nancy is able to identify for her buyers the properties that truly fit their lifestyle. This is especially valuable to buyers who have never before lived in a high-rise property.”
Sellers working with Nancy have just as much to gain through their partnership. With her own information-rich website featuring every high-rise in the city and units for sale, Nancy delivers a strong level of prospective buyer traffic for her own listings through this broad exposure.
“Having owned a high-rise residence as both a primary and secondary home myself, I know what buyers want and how to attract these qualified prospects,” says Nancy
Broad life experience, a deep understanding of the local market, and an endless capacity to educate and serve: It all adds up to an easy decision to choose Nancy Martínez for your high-rise move.

Living the High-rise Life

Big D’s glamour cachet soars with each high-rise condominium.
Previously the domain of flashier cities, high-rise living caught fire here thanks to a core of enthusiastic Realtors who live the life they sell.
The Dallas Morning News, February 13, 2011 (excerpted)
Nancy Martínez of Virginia Cook Realtors grew up in Preston Hollow. When she moved to Mexico 29 years ago, she kept a home in Preston Tower Condominiums to be near family. Now, Martínez works in buildings from the Metropolitan downtown to the Bonaventure in North Dallas, including Park Towers and 3525 Turtle Creek.
“High-rise living in Dallas is about incomparable views and a pampered, carefree lifestyle,” she says. “Homeowners associations hire staff to provide security, greet visitors, park vehicles, accept packages and maintain the building and grounds.”
Among the amenities: a cigar lounge at Grand Treviso; a rooftop Sky Lobby at the Mayfair; and a movie theater in the Azure and Metropolitan. Such perks come with a price and part of choosing a high-rise is “balancing the benefits with their costs as reflected in monthly homeowner’s association fees,” Martínez says.
Although long-time Dallasites initially approached high-rises with some hesitation, “individuals moving from New York, Chicago and LA take them for granted and would live nowhere else,” says Martínez who devotes half her business to these homes.

Additionally, website visitors will find Nancy’s practical and useful tips for buying a high-rise home. Topics include property location, views, lobby staff, pets, guest suites, fitness centers, pools, garage parking, storage areas, common areas, and HOA dues, assessments, and other fees.
