Charles and Elaine Sammons purchased it in 1959 and made significant changes to the North building and added three wings, East, South, and West, in 1959. Most common areas were renovated in 1998 and the lobby, in 2004. The East and South Buildings are in Dallas and the others in Highland Park. Honestly, the Highland Park librarian will need to know your building before issuing you a library card.
